Browser Tab Notifications

Browser Tab Notifications flashes the page title in the browser tab when a visitor leaves your site. It’s a subtle way to bring their attention back.

Turn on Browser Tab Notifications

1. Go to Milano Dashboard → Modules.
2. Find Browser Tab Notifications and turn the toggle on.

The module is off by default.

Configure

1. Go to Milano Dashboard → Settings.
2. Under Tab Flash, you’ll find:
   • Original text — Leave this blank to use the page’s original title. You can enter custom text to show when the tab is in focus.
   • Flash text — The text that appears when the visitor has left the page. For example: “Come back! We’re running a sale.”
3. Click Save Changes.

The tab flashes once and returns to the original title after a few seconds. It only triggers when someone switches to a different tab or window.
