Catalog Mode

Catalog Mode transforms your store into a read-only product catalog. Prices are hidden and the Add to Cart button is removed, making it impossible for customers to buy anything through the site.

This is useful for:

• Wholesale or B2B sites that take orders by phone or email.
• Stores that are temporarily closed.
• Product lookbooks where you want to show items without selling them online.

Turn on Catalog Mode

1. Go to Milano Dashboard → Modules.
2. Find Catalog Mode and turn the toggle on.

Configure

1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Catalog Mode.
2. You can choose what to hide:
   • Hide prices — Removes all prices throughout the store.
   • Hide Add to Cart — Removes all Add to Cart buttons. Products say “Read More” instead.
   • Hide both — Full catalog mode with no pricing or purchasing.
3. Exclude certain user roles — Optionally let logged-in users (like administrators or wholesale customers) see prices and buy.
4. Custom “Read More” text — Change the text on the button that replaces Add to Cart.
5. Click Save Changes.

Excluding specific products

You can exclude individual products from catalog mode from the product edit screen. Those products will show prices and the Add to Cart button as normal.

• WooCommerce must be installed and active.
